Processed meat is defined by the South African National Standard (SANS885) as “meat” that has undergone any action that substantially altered its original state; including, but not limited to heating, smoking, curing, fermenting, maturing, drying, marinating (surface application), extraction or extrusion, or any combination of all these mentioned processes. As a processed meat supplier, we pride ourselves on quality meat products and putting our customers’ needs first – whether it is smoked, cured, stewed, grilled, or even on the braai – since South Africans are known for having a passion for braaiing.
